Pastor – Rev. R. Paul Beach, JCL___________________________ _____________________________________________________ Fr. Paul Beach is a native of Louisville, KY. He attended St. Stephen Martyr grade school and St. Xavier high school. Upon graduation, Fr. Beach began his seminary studies, first at St. Meinrad Seminary in Southern Indiana, and at St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore, MD. He was ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Thomas C. Kelly, OP on May 19, 2001, and celebrated his first Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Martin of Tours Church in Louisville, KY the following day. Serving for three years as parochial vicar at two Louisville parishes, he received his first pastorate in 2004 at St. John the Apostle Church in Brandenburg, KY, and St. Martin of Tours Church in Flaherty, KY. In 2008 Fr. Beach was assigned by Archbishop Joseph Kurtz to further studies at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He received the Licentiate degree in Canon Law (JCL) in May 2011. Archbishop Kurtz appointed Fr. Beach Judicial Vicar and Head of the Metropolitan Tribunal of Louisville in January 2012. Fr. Beach was assigned as the sixteenth pastor of St. Martin of Tours Church in Louisville in June 2012. Fr. Beach is the son of Robert L. and Mary Karen Beach, both of Louisville, KY. He has one sister. In his free time, he enjoys reading (especially topics concerning American history), fly fishing, golf, cooking, and driving his Jeep. _____________________________________________________

Deacon – Richard Zoldak_________________________________ _____________________________________________________ Deacon Rich Zoldak is a Senior Technical Service Engineer for Süd-Chemie Inc. in Louisville, KY. He and his wife, Cheryl have been married for 29 years and have three children, Vincent (27), Adam (25),and Theresa (20). Deacon Rich was born in Cleveland, OH and is a graduate of Benedictine High School in Cleveland, OH. He received a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering Degree and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering Degree from Fenn College of Engineering at Cleveland State University. He also received a Masters in Business Administration Degree from State University of New York at Buffalo and has a Certificate in Pastoral Ministry from Spalding University. Deacon Rich is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Theological Studies at St. Meinrad School of Theology in St. Meinrad, IN. He is also a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus and holds a professional engineering license in the State of New York. Deacon Rich is also a Benedictine Oblate with St. Meinrad Archabbey and does FOCCUS marriage preparation of engaged couples with his wife Cheryl. Together they also perform Communion Calls at University of Louisville Hospital as part of the hospital’s chaplain service. _____________________________________________________
Deacon – Robert Bryant__________________________________ _____________________________________________________ I was born in Louisville to the union of Holman and Carolyn (Klapheke) Bryant. I am the third oldest of seven. I attended elementary schools at St. Aloysius in PeeWee Valley, Holy Spirit in Louisville and public school in Lawrenceburg, KY. I graduated from Anderson County High School. I received my BS at Eastern Kentucky University and MS at Southern Illinois University in the Administration of Criminal Justice. I was ordained in 1996 and served as a deacon at St. Barnabas and St. Aloysius in Shepherdsville, then Archbishop Kelly assigned me as Administrator of Holy Cross and Emmanuel Catholic Churches in the Southern Kentucky Missions. I began my assigned at St. Martin of Tours on December 1, 2011. I am the proud father of two wonderful children (Michael & Sarah) and “Pop Pop” to two (so far) fabulous grandchildren (Paul and Olivia). I am grateful to God for all of the opportunities and blessings that I have received in my life and also for the support and prayers of family members and friends. _____________________________________________________
Director of Religious Education – Cindy Heckmann_____________ _____________________________________________________ Cindy is a native of Louisville, lifelong Catholic and has been a member of Saint Martin of Tours Parish since 1999. She joined the staff in 2004. Prior to becoming the Director of Religious Education, she worked as a legislative assistant and caseworker for U.S. Senator Wendell Ford and was a human resources representative at a local manufacturing facility. She is currently in the process of completing the requirements for her Masters in Theological Studies degree at Saint Meinrad School of Theology. _____________________________________________________
Bookkeeper – Sheila Williams_____________________________ _____________________________________________________ Before coming to Saint Martin of Tours Church, Sheila was Financial Controller for the University of Louisville, University Club. With more than twenty years of knowledge and experience in accounting, finance and management, her responsibility also included Human Resources for the clubs 53+ employees. Prior to working at the University club, Sheila served six years as Financial Controller, four years as the assistant Financial controller and one year as Director of Human Resources for Louisville’s Brown Hotel. Sheila received her formal education from Sullivan University, majoring in accounting and finance. Sheila has also received several certificates, honors and acknowledgments for her community leadership and involvement. An ended marriage of 30+ years to her high school sweetheart has been blessed with three beautiful children and four loving grandchildren. Sheila was born the fourth child of ten (five brothers and four sisters) takes great pride in her family heritage where she continues to give and receive support and love. _____________________________________________________

Director of Sacred Music and Organist – Emily Meixner_________ _____________________________________________________ Emily Meixner serves as the organist and director of sacred music at Saint Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Louisville, KY. A native of Ashland, OH, Dr. Meixner holds degrees from Franciscan University of Steubenville (BA), the Cleveland Institute of Music (MM), and the University of Notre Dame (DMA). Her scholarly research focuses primarily on the French organist and composer Louis Vierne (1877-1937), with special interest in his organ symphonies. She has studied organ with Craig Cramer, Douglas Reed, Todd Wilson, Timothy Guenther, and Paul Weber. As a successful competitor, she recently won first prize at the Pittsburgh Concert Society Competition for Young Organists and first prize at the Tuesday Musical Association Performance Scholarship Competition in Organ. A dedicated church musician, Dr. Meixner earned a minor in theology while studying in Franciscan University and recently passed the Colleague Examination of the American Guild of Organists. An active recitalist, she has recently performed in the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church concert series (South Bend, IN); the L’Organo concert series at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival (Charleston, S.C.); the Millennium Stage concert series at the Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C.); and the Cleveland Museum of Art Performing Arts Series (Cleveland, OH)
______________________________________________ Staff _____________________________________________________ Business Manager – Paul Reinhart__________________________ _____________________________________________________ Paul Reinhart was born and raised in Louisville (St. Raphael Parish). His history with St. Martin’s dates back to the early 1900s when his father and mother were baptized and later married there. In the mid-1900s his two older brothers were baptized at St. Martin’s as well. He is a graduate of Bellarmine University and holds both an undergraduate Bachelors of Arts (Accounting) degree and a Masters of Business Administration. His work history includes accounting and administration at Meidinger and Associates, Cotton and Allen CPA, Courier Journal, and Kentucky Wood Floors. Most recently he and his wife Marianne owned a hardwood floor contracting business. He has three sons– Matthew (Daphne), Mitchell (Sarah), Marshall (Jenn) and eight grandchildren–Leo, Gus, Sophia, Matilda, Oscar, Zacharias, Mable, and Dorothy. _____________________________________________________
